Are you energized by starting conversations, opening doors and building relationships? We are partnering with a North American logistics organization to find a Business Development Manager who is ready to grow a customer portfolio and build a rewarding career in sales.

This is a great opportunity for someone with business development or early sales experience who enjoys picking up the phone, connecting with new people and finding solutions. You will work alongside a supportive operations team to help customers move their products and keep their businesses running.

What Will You Do?

• Identify and prospect potential customers across a range of industries and transportation needs.

• Make 25+ prospect touchpoints per day, including phone calls, emails and follow-ups, to build a consistent pipeline.

• Develop relationships with decision-makers, uncover their shipping challenges and introduce suitable logistics solutions.

• Meet with prospects and customers in the field to build relationships and uncover new opportunities.

• Manage opportunities from the first conversation through closing, and continue to grow customer relationships.

• Work closely with operations and finance to develop solutions and deliver a positive customer experience.

• Track sales activity, maintain an organized pipeline and contribute to revenue growth.

What Do You Bring?

• Experience in business development and/or an entry-level sales role, with a desire to grow your sales career.

• Confidence picking up the phone, prospecting and initiating conversations with new contacts.

• A resilient, self-motivated approach and the drive to follow up and turn opportunities into customers.

• Strong communication, relationship-building and organizational skills.

• Experience in logistics, transportation or third-party logistics
