Job Summary

Hands‑on experience with DB2, MySQL, Elasticsearch indexing and query optimization; strong understanding of database integration with Java and Python; familiarity with Snowflake architecture; willingness to learn new technologies. Prior experience in fraud financial analytics is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and indexing strategies for high‑performance applications.
• Develop and fine‑tune queries to enhance system efficiency and scalability.
• Manage and maintain Elasticsearch clusters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate databases with Java and Python applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database‑related issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Work with Snowflake to leverage its architecture for data warehousing and analytics solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with DB2 and MySQL database technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch indexing and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Snowflake architecture.
• Experience integrating databases with Java and Python technologies.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Background in fraud financial analytics or related fields.
• Experience with cloud‑based database solutions.
• Certifications in database or Elasticsearch technologies.

Salary

CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
