Lead large, complex banking projects with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and within-budget deliveryManage project scopes, schedules, resources, and budgets, including forecast updates and financial risk mitigationCommunicate effectively with senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical teamsOversee vendor engagement, coordinating deliverables and ensuring contractual commitments are metUnderstand and challenge technical architectures, infrastructure, and integration pointsDrive project delivery in hybrid, Agile, and traditional models, adapting as project needs evolveManage data modernization initiatives involving pipelines, source systems, and enterprise data platformsIdentify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as necessaryEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in Canadian banking regulationsFoster collaboration across teams, setting clear expectations and driving accountabilityDesired Skill-Set
Extensive experience managing large, high-profile banking projectsProven financial management skills, owning project budgets from $300K to $40MStrong stakeholder management, with ability to engage and influence at all levelsExcellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for business audiencesDeep understanding of SDLC, governance frameworks, and delivery methodologiesKnowledge of data architecture including ingestion, pipelines, and enterprise data managementAbility to manage ambiguity and changing project priorities effectivelyVendor management experience within complex enterprise environmentsExperience with regulatory initiatives specific to Canadian banking is an assetRelevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, or equivalents are beneficial but not mandatoryNice to Have
