As a Structural Design Mechanical Lead Engineer, you'll spearhead the development of carbody structures for complex projects. With over 8 years of experience in mechanical design and validation, you'll manage the full lifecycle of requirements, ensuring conformity and best practices. Your robust problem‑solving skills will help resolve challenges and uphold design quality and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage requirements lifecycle from analysis to validation
- Prepare documentation for carbody shell
- Coordinate with Weight Discipline Engineer on weight analysis
- Develop design solutions per project specifications
- Lead dimensioning verification with FEA and Crash teams
Requirements
- OIQ Member; degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- 8+ years in complex mechanical design experience
- Familiarity with welded structures and geometric tolerancing
- Proficiency in French and English
- Strong communication and organizational skills
