Job Overview

Cariboo Chilcotin Divers Ltd. is looking for a hardworking, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Commercial Diver. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team and will contribute to all aspects of our operations.

Based out of Quesnel, BC, we work throughout Western Canada providing underwater inspection, maintenance, repair, dredging, ROV services and much more for our municipal, industrial, and resource-sector clients.

This position is based in Quesnel, BC. Preference will be given to applicants who currently reside in the area or are willing to relocate.

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work as an integral part of a team
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to travel throughout Western Canada
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Self-motivated and capable of being productive without constant supervision
• Valid drivers license

What You Must Have:

• DCBC – Restricted/Unrestricted Surface Supplied Diver certification
• Current DCBC/WorkSafeBC Commercial Diver Medical
• Must meet WorkSafeBC part 24 requirements

Additional Skills We Value:

• Class 3 driver’s license
• Heavy trailer endorsement
• Crane operator certification and/or experience
• Experience with pumps, hydraulics & diesel engines
• Welding & fabrication skills
• Marine experience, including boat operation
