Fire Assay Technician - Thunder Bay Duties and Responsibilities:- Receiving WOs and perform sample preparation
- Perform analysis of samples.
- Maintain minor instrumentation in optimized and calibrated condition
- Troubleshoots instrumental problems and basic maintenance of instrumentation.
- Perform sample, reagent & calibration standard preparation.
- Verify and validate data
- Keep accurate and up to date records
- Train junior analysts
- Follow all SOPs and QC procedures.
- Meet quality assurance and turnaround time specifications.
- Other administrative/laboratory tasks as assigned

- Must be able to wear a respirator and work in hot conditions.
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Some lifting and carrying (up to 25kgs)

- Willing to work overtime during peak season.

Wage $20-$27/hour
