Mobile Technician

About The Role

CBRE is looking for a proactive and skilled Mobile Technician to support our client locations in Corner Brook, NL. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the go-to expert for keeping client locations safe, functional, and customer-ready by maintaining and repairing building systems, equipment, and facilities.

As part of CBRE’s Engineering & Technical Services team, you’ll work across multiple sites, handling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-demand repairs for mechanical, electrical, and general building systems. What You’ll Do

• Perform ongoing general maintenance on facility infrastructures.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver’s License required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

The salary range being offered for the Mobile Technician role is between $60,000 annually and $70,000 annually. The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
