Apply real estate accounting expertise at HOOPP, working with Yardi, Oracle, external managers, and complex property transactions across global markets.The Senior Analyst, Real Estate supports HOOPP’s $17.7 billion portfolio across North America and Europe. This senior accounting professional records transactions, validates financial data, and addresses varied reporting and foreign exchange considerations. The position also guides two Analysts and supports Investment Management.Key Responsibilities:
Record acquisitions, dispositions, ownership changes, and complex accounting transactionsReview manual month-end entries and reconcile Yardi-to-Oracle dataAnalyze external manager data for completeness, accuracy, and complianceGuide, mentor, and approve work completed by two AnalystsPrepare audit working papers, financial statements, and variance analysisRequirements:
University degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplineQualified accountant with CPA designationFive to ten years’ real estate operations experienceProperty and investment accounting experience, preferably through managementStrong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skillsUse Yardi, accounting expertise, and leadership skills to support accurate real estate reporting at HOOPP.
