Saskatchewan Pension Plan (SPP) is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused professional to support the accurate and efficient administration of financial and member records. The position plays an important role in ensuring financial transactions, reconciliations, investment-related accounting activities and member services are completed accurately and in compliance with established controls and policies.
The ideal candidate is accountable, innovative, collaborative, adaptable and committed to public service excellence. They demonstrate strong organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Success in this role requires working effectively both independently and as part of a team, communicating professionally with members, vendors and stakeholders, and maintaining confidentiality while delivering high-quality service and support. Candidates should have knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, financial management processes, internal controls, Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), accounting software, and basic investment terminology and classifications. Experience with Sage Intacct is considered an asset. The successful candidate must be able to perform moderately complex calculations and financial analysis, complete and review reconciliations, maintain data integrity, investigate and resolve discrepancies, interpret and apply policies and procedures, and accurately manage financial data across multiple systems.
