AI-Enablement Financial Content Consultant

Position: AI-Enablement, Financial Services- L&D Content Consultant

Client: Financial Information Services – Financial Education Client

Type : 3 month contract - 15-25 hour per week

Rate: 60-70/hr incorporated - can be flexible for candidates with extensive financial services and AI experience

Ideal candidates will have:

• Demonstrated expertise in artificial intelligence, including how AI is changing workplace practices, decision making, productivity, and professional workflows.
• The ability to evaluate AI technologies from a practical business perspective, including responsible AI adoption, limitations, governance, and risk considerations.
• Experience applying AI within financial services is highly preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience, including experience in financial services, technology, consulting, learning, or another relevant professional discipline.
• Experience within retail banking, wealth management, securities, investment advisory, or related client-facing financial services is strongly preferred.
• Experience reviewing, authoring, or validating professional learning content, technical content, or curriculum.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical, accessible language.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles or instructional design is beneficial but not required.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in Financial Services, Learning & Development, or a combination of both.

-Deep understanding of AI-enablement in Financial Services, including emerging AI capabilities, practical business applications, risks, limitations, governance considerations, and the importance of maintaining human judgment.

-Experience creating AI-enabled learning content or incorporating AI prompts into learning programs.

-Proven experience creating AI-enabled learning content, including integrating AI concepts, prompts, exercises, and real-world use cases into professional development programs.

-Strong curriculum development and instructional design experience, with a focus on professional learning, eLearning, and adult learning principles.

-Exceptional business writing and content development skills, with the ability to translate complex AI, technology, and financial services concepts into clear, practical learning content.

-Financial Services subject matter expertise, including an understanding of industry trends, workforce evolution, regulatory considerations, and professional competencies.

-Strong critical thinking and editorial skills, with the ability to assess content quality, identify gaps, validate accuracy, and align content to learning objectives.

For this project, the selected freelancer will:

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert on AI adoption and professional AI capabilities within financial services.
• Validate curriculum and learning content to ensure it accurately reflects current AI technologies, emerging workplace practices, and responsible AI use.
• Review and strengthen content covering topics such as AI adoption, AI-assisted workflows, ethical and responsible AI use, productivity, critical thinking, professional judgment, and technology-enabled decision making.
• Ensure all AI-related content reflects practical, real-world applications for financial services professionals.
• Review existing curriculum for technical accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current industry trends.
• Identify outdated concepts, content gaps, and opportunities to improve the learner experience.
• Develop or enhance practitioner-focused content, scenarios, and case studies where additional subject matter expertise is required.
• Collaborate with the project team through iterative review cycles and provide recommendations that improve both technical accuracy and practical application.
