General Labourer (Seasonal)

Job Responsibility:

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our Ag retail business and farming operation. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Having a farming background would be an asset.

Duties

• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the work area clean and organized.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Responsibilities include working from heights to install equipment on grain bins.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
• Class one is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
• Basic knowledge of power tools and farm equipment is a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
• Some traveling is required.
