Equities Trading Java Developer Vice President

Lead the design and optimization of high-performance microservices at Citigroup as a Java Developer in Equities Trading. Focus on Smart Order Router enhancements and system stability.
In your Vice President role, you will spearhead the development of low-latency applications, lead technical discussions, and conduct code reviews to uphold architectural integrity. Collaborate with product development and quantitative researchers to enhance trading capabilities while driving continuous improvement in deployment processes and testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and optimize microservices for Smart Order Router
• Implement complex routing logic and perform venue analysis
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance systems
• Improve testing frameworks and development tools
Requirements:
• Strong experience in high-performance, low-latency systems
• Expert knowledge in Core Java and JVM internals
• Proven history with automated trading systems
• Familiarity with financial market protocols like FIX
• Experience with CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies
Drive innovations and uphold quality standards in the trading technology space with your expertise.
