We are a warm family seeking an experienced, responsive live-out nanny for one toddler, beginning with paid onboarding in August/September 2026 and independently established care by November. Schedule: Approximately 30–35 guaranteed weekday daytime hours. Our provisional schedule is Monday–Friday, about 9:00 a.m.–3:30/4:00 p.m. Compensation: Approximately $28–$34 oogross per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and agreed scope. This will be a lawful employee role with a written contract and payroll. Our daughter will be approximately 15 months old by August 2026. She is curious, observant, active, and loves books, music, art, dancing, walking, balls, nature, practical life, and exploring new things. We are seeking a nanny who is:

• warm, highly responsive, calm, and reliable;
• experienced with toddlers;
• fluent in spoken English and able to read expressively;
• confident with outdoor and community activities;
• respectful of child-led play, bodily autonomy, and growing independence;
• able to provide books, storytelling, music, process art, movement, nature, practical life, and recurring social experiences;
• comfortable following allergy, health, safety, privacy, and emergency plans;

willing to work under a lawful contract and payroll arrangement. ECE, ECEA, Montessori, child-development, teaching, nursing, or related training is preferred but not required. 10 or more years of strong childcare experience and stable long-term references are highly valued. The role includes direct care, child meals, child laundry, hygiene, nap support, outings, play and environment reset. Limited light family-support tasks may be completed when time permits, but childcare always comes first. This is not a general housekeeping role. The family will establish clear spaces, handoffs, and communication so that working from home does not result in constant interruption. ## Is driving required? Not initially. The family expects local walks, parks, libraries, community programs, and approved transit-based outings. Driving may become useful later and preferred. ## Is this a housekeeping role? No. It is a professional childcare role. Child-related duties are included. A small number of light family-support tasks may be completed only when time permits and childcare remains the priority. ## Is there a formal curriculum? No. The family values responsive interaction, child-led play, practical life, movement, nature, books, storytelling, music, art, social experiences, and ordinary family life. The nanny will have guidance and resources without being expected to run a classroom. ## Is Montessori training required? No. Montessori, ECE, or related training is preferred, but demonstrated responsiveness, safety, experience, reliability, English communication, and family fit are more important. ## Is Hindi required? No. Excellent English is required. Hindi or familiarity with Indian culture is an advantage.
