Accounting Policies Manager in Ontario

Scotiabank is seeking an Accounting Policies Manager in Ontario to drive the implementation of IFRS standards and enhance our accounting practices. As the Accounting Policies Manager, you'll oversee the development and execution of accounting policies that comply with evolving IFRS requirements. You are expected to analyze complex transactions and provide comprehensive recommendations while updating internal guidelines. Engaging with senior management and other departments will be vital to align priorities and achieve results. Key Responsibilities:

• Research and design accounting policies and procedures
• Facilitate adoption of new IFRS standards Bank-wide
• Provide timely analysis on specialized transactions
• Update and maintain relevant accounting documentation
