Expected Start Date: October 14, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Victoria Hospital City/Town: Prince Albert Department: Nursing Inpatient Administration Type: Part-time temporary Expected Up to Date: July 30, 2027 FTE: 0.5 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends Number of Hours per Rotation: 22 shifts of 10.1 hours per 12 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Extended Shift Hours (11.78) Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: No Job : The Nursing Supervisor is accountable for the overall coordination of care and flow of acute and non-acute patients throughout their stay. This includes the flow to and from other facilities within Region and Provincial/Inter-provincial. They also provide supportive care of other departments at the Victoria Hospital. They are responsible and accountable for patient bed management and utilize the Victoria Hospital beds and nursing staff resources in collaboration with the Unit Manager during their hours of work and in the off hours. The Nursing Supervisor is the management representative in the absence of the Unit Managers and all senior administrative personnel; therefore they provide both clinical and administrative direction and leadership within the hospital. They will rotate through the Acute Care Access Program working together with a Senior Social Worker to prevent unnecessary admissions to acute care and facilitate discharge planning at time of admission for complex care needs. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Five (5) years nursing experience in the specific clinical area
