We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer - CRM to support the delivery of key enterprise application enhancements and robust business intelligence reporting solutions. In this role, you will work as part of an integrated data and support team responsible for configuring, customizing, and extending Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions. You will focus heavily on data modeling, analytics, and constructing advanced Power BI reports and dashboards leveraging data from Dynamics 365 CE and Finance & Operations (F&O) systems.

Location: Toronto, ON (Fully Onsite – 5 days/week required)

Duration: 9-month contract.

Responsibilities
Translate technical specifications into working configurations, customizations, and software enhancements within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.

Design, build, and deploy interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on complex enterprise data sets.

Build advanced data models, configure data gateways, and write complex DAX expressions and Power Query scripts to ensure report accuracy and performance.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries, analyze execution plans, and tune database performance for seamless data extractions.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues arising within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE platforms and reporting pipelines.

Support system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) by resolving defects, validating data integrity, and addressing technical bottlenecks.

Participate in application deployment, post-go-live stabilization, and solution maintenance activities.

Author comprehensive technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer to internal technical staff for ongoing solution sustainability.

Utilize version control systems (e.g., Azure Repos) and collaboration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) to track code, manage backlogs, and collaborate across delivery teams.

Qualifications
Enterprise Dynamics 365 Development: 5+ years of experience developing, configuring, extending, and supporting enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) (Strictly Required).

Advanced Power BI Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Power BI data modeling, interactive dashboard creation, DAX, Power Query, and advanced analytics features (Strictly Required).

Multi-System Report Development: Proven experience producing enterprise reports and extracting data from both Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O) (Strictly Required).

SQL & Database Optimization: Strong SQL scripting skills with proven ability to optimize database queries, perform index tuning, and analyze execution plans.

DevOps & Collaboration Tooling: Familiarity with modern version control systems (Azure Repos) and Agile project tracking tools (Azure DevOps).

Nice-to-Have Assets:
Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or Dynamics 365 certifications).

Deep understanding of the Microsoft Common Data Model (CDM) for Dynamics 365 environments.
