Bistro on Bennett is a locally owned, well-loved seasonal restaurant located in the heart of Carcross, Yukon. We serve a high volume of visitors and locals with a focus on fresh, high-quality meals and warm, welcoming service.

We are looking for a Line Cook/Expo to join our back-of-house team and help deliver efficient, consistent, and high-quality food service throughout the busy summer season.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to standard, ensuring quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and FoodSafe-compliant workstation
• Assist with prep, portioning, and kitchen setup/closing tasks
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and front of house teams during busy service
• Support overall kitchen flow in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment
• Ability to follow direction and work efficiently under pressure
• FoodSafe Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• EXPO experience is an asset

Position Details

• Full-time, seasonal position
• Subsidized accommodations available at our other location, Six Mile River Resort (Tagish) or mileage compensation available if commuting
• Wages plus tips
