Guest Services Agent - Hotel Colonial Hotel and Suites Location 1 Main St. W Grand Bend, ON Salary 17.60 to 20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 20 to 40 hours per week Part time leading to full time Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined Starts as early as 2026-05-11 Benefits: Other benefits Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience Will train Work must be completed at the physical Location. Work setting Hospitality industry Hotel, motel, resort Rural area Responsibilities: Investigate complaints and claims Register arriving guests and assign rooms Resolve complaints and claims Process group arrivals and departures Take, cancel and change room reservations Provide information on hotel facilities and services Provide general information about points of interest in the area Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Maintain an inventory of , reservations and room assignments Follow emergency and safety procedures Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying) Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages Assist clients/guests with special needs Contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Provide customer service Additional information Transportation/travel information Own transportation Own vehicle Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Fast-paced environment Standing for extended periods Work under pressure Personal suitability Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Resourcefulness Benefits Other benefits Free parking available Other benefits Parking available Until: 2026-04-24
