General Labour – Retail Store Opening Support

Location:  Upper Canada Mall Newmarket, 

Job Type: Temporary / Casual

We are hiring General Labour Associates to support the opening of a new retail store at Upper Canada Mall. This is a great short-term opportunity for dependable individuals who are comfortable with physical work and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming stock.
• Move, organize, and stage merchandise.
• Remove cardboard, packaging, and garbage.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with general store setup and other labour duties as required.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Steel-toe safety shoes are required.
• Previous warehouse, retail, or general labour experience is an asset but not required.

Monday, July 20

• 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (3 positions)
• 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (3 positions)

Tuesday, July 21

• 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (3 positions)
• 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (3 positions)

Wednesday, July 22

• 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (2 positions)
• 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (2 positions)

Thursday, July 23

• 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (1 position)
• 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (1 position)
