Facility Maintenance Supervisor

The City of Warman is seeking to fill the position of Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.  
Reporting directly to the Director, Recreation and Community Services, the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor oversees the operation, maintenance, repair, cleanliness, safety, accessibility, and lifecycle planning of assigned City facilities, including City Hall, Fire Hall, RCMP Building, The Warman Home Communiplex, Diamond Arena, Brian King Centre, and other City-owned or leased properties.

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for maintenance programs, inspections, work orders, janitorial standards, contractors, security support, emergency readiness, facility set-ups, records, budgets, procurement, risk management, compliance, accessibility, energy conservation, and service continuity.

Requirements:

High school diploma; facilities management diploma/certificate or satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience.  
The ability to possess and maintain the Arena Operators Level 1 & 2, Refrigeration Engineers Certificate, Power Engineers Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR & AED Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and take additional courses as needed and/or required.
Experience in facility operations, building maintenance, supervision, contractor coordination, preventative maintenance, budgeting, and public service.
Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, life-safety, security, access control, janitorial, grounds, and building maintenance systems.
Physically able to perform the duties of the position including manual labour for extended periods of time under various weather conditions.
Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract.
Satisfactory Police Criminal Record Check.
Ability to follow City policies, procedures, and direction.
