Room Attendant

The room attendant is responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and presentation of the suites to ensure a clean, comfortable environment that complies with the hotel's quality standards.

The holder of this position ensures an exceptional customer experience by maintaining rigorous cleaning of the rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas of the suites.

• Perform complete cleaning and restoration of the suites according to the standards set by the hotel.

• Ensure the maintenance of rooms, including changing bedding, arranging towels, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.

• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including showers, bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops.

• Perform maintenance of kitchen areas in the suites: cleaning countertops, appliances, dishes, surfaces, cabinets, and equipment as needed.

• Restock amenities, welcome products, bathroom items, and supplies necessary for guest comfort.

• Empty trash and ensure the overall cleanliness of the suites before guest arrivals.

• Check the overall condition of rooms and report any issues, damage, or maintenance needs.

• Properly use cleaning products and equipment while adhering to safety procedures.

• Keep your workspace and equipment clean, organized, and well-stocked.

• Adhere to the establishment’s policies, procedures, and service standards.

• Perform any other related tasks associated with the position.

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar position in hospitality (an asset).

• Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness.

• Ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of quality.

• Good organizational skills and ability to effectively manage time.

• Good physical condition to perform repetitive and demanding tasks.

• Autonomy, reliability, and sense of responsibility.

• Honesty, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.

• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.

• Professional appearance.

• Good understanding of French.

• Basic understanding of English (an asset for customer interactions).

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
