Schedule:
- Maternity Leave Contract.
- Monday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
- Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
- Wednesday:11:00am - 7:00pm.
- Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
- Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm.

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $31-$36/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.
Please note that this is a replacement job opening.
Your Role:
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
- Support the orthodontic program (training provided).
- Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
- Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
- Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
- Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
- Assist with ordering and inventory control as needed.
About You:
- Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
- NDAEB certification is required.
- Experience with Abeldent is preferred.
- Bilingual English and French is preferred.
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
