Construction Worker ZA Electrical and General Contractor Ltd Location Edmonton, AB Salary 17.00 to 22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 44 hours per week Full time To be determined Starts as early as 2026-04-13 Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience 7 months to less than 1 year Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Outdoors At heights Confined spaces Noisy Dusty Cold/refrigerated Work setting Various Locations Constructi Responsibilities: Load, unload and transport construction materials Read blueprints to determine work requirements Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs Assist in demolishing buildings Perform routine maintenance work Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Drug test Transportation/travel information Own transportation Own vehicle Willing to travel Willing to travel regularly Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Physically demanding Tight deadlines Repetitive Handling heavy loads Attention to detail Sound discrimination Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) More than 45 kg (100 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Safety glasses/goggles Gloves Cellular phone Personal suitability Accurate Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Reliability Hardworking Until: 2026-05-02
