- Examiner les soudures et s'assurer qu'elles rencontrent les normes et spécifications
- Déterminer l'habilité de soudure des matériaux
- Utiliser des dispositifs de levage
- Utiliser des machines à souder à commandes réglables, afin de fabriquer ou réparer des éléments de métal
- Participer à l'entretien et à la réparation des machines à souder et à braser
- Ajuster et souder les pièces métalliques
- Ajuster des plaques et des tôles
- Ajuster et assembler les composantes et les pièces détachées de machine pour ajuster les tolérances
- Poser et ajuster les pièces
- Ajuster et assembler des pièces de tôle
