Seasonal Lead Merchandiser for Garden Centre (Winnipeg)

Become the Seasonal Lead Merchandiser at Goliath Grower Services and make an impact this spring! This engaging role combines leadership and outdoor work to enhance the customer shopping experience.

From early April to June, you will oversee a team of seasonal merchandisers in our busy Garden Centre. Your leadership will drive successful visual merchandising and ensure high-quality customer service. You’ll also be responsible for staff training in product knowledge and protected merchandising practices, creating an inspiring environment for both staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the merchandising team
• Create and maintain appealing product displays
• Coordinate timely unloading and stocking of deliveries
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels and quality control
• Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers

Requirements

• 2 years of leadership or merchandising experience
• Capable of working in demanding and active setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using technology and reporting tools
• Passionate about gardening and outdoor lifestyle
