Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake as the primary cloud data platform.
• Create and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop scalable data processing, automation, and integration solutions using Python.
• Build and manage cloud-based data architectures, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Utilize AI technologies, including Claude and Microsoft Copilot, to accelerate development, automate workflows, improve code quality, and enhance knowledge management.
• Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, security, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues while continuously improving existing processes and solutions.
• Stay current with emerging cloud, data engineering, and AI technologies to drive innovation and operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse and data engineering fundamentals
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Strong programming skills in Python, including building data pipelines, automation, and API integrations
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Practical knowledge of AI and Generative AI tools, especially Claude and Microsoft Copilot
• Expertise in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and analytics
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience integrating AI capabilities into data workflows and automations
• Knowledge of machine learning, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted software development
• Relevant certifications in Snowflake, Cloud Platforms, or AI technologies

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in similar roles within data engineering, AI development, or cloud environments
