Food Service Associate Full Time

How You Will Make An Impact

You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, You Will

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen, service areas and equipment.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of kitchen and service work areas, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management
• Food prep includes but not limited to: grill service of breakfast & lunch, salads, sandwiches, pizza, etc
• Strict adherence to food safety practices, tracking and documentation

About You

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
