Overview
The role is part of the Canada Leadership Team, reporting directly to MDS NA and dotted to the Canada BU President. It focuses on developing roadmaps, planning agreed‑to outcomes, ensuring commitments are met, and serving as the point of contact for Mondelz International Digital Services.
Responsibilities
- Lead contact for the defined processes used by the shared services team and/or third‑party suppliers.
- Drive internal and external continuous improvement initiatives, introducing external insights and best practices.
- Lead projects, business consultancy efforts and operational processes to meet key performance indicators and performance management targets.
- Define and lead the Digital Vision, Strategy and roadmap implementation for the BU, partnering with BU leadership.
- Act as the single MDS point of accountability to drive the digital agenda, understand business drivers, and ensure appropriate governance and follow‑through in managing and protecting data assets.
- Champion digital transformation, adoption of data‑driven culture, and a community of digital champions across the BU.
- Collaborate with HR to elevate digital capabilities across organisation levels.
- Champion data‑led thinking to evolve analytics and AI/ML capabilities, accelerate adoption of digital and data products, and provide thought leadership on a market level.
- Work with other BU MDS leads and global digital experts to prioritize and deliver the Canada BU agenda, maximizing synergies with NA MDS.
- Consolidate various technology services, manage the annual BU budget planning, and partner with business leads on trade‑offs to maximise ROI.
- Lead and direct vendor/agency engagements for local/legacy solutions (websites, apps, local sales solutions), coach business teams on proof of concept experiments, and guide recommendations for emerging platforms.
- Partner with Legal on cybersecurity and data privacy practices and stay connected with external industry and global teams for benchmarking on digital/technology trends.

Additional Experience / Ingredients
- Approximately 16+ years of experience demonstrating commanding knowledge of IT project management, infrastructure, solution management, architecture, and innovation.
- Effective written and oral communication skills with proven leadership competencies.
- A passion for technology and its impact on business, with a solution‑oriented mindset and strong business partnering skills.
- Strategic agenda setting, execution discipline, organisational agility, creativity, and intellectual rigor.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and external agencies.
Job Specific Requirements
- Define and lead Digital Vision, Strategy and roadmap implementation.
- Steward for organisation‑level data and ensure governance and protection of data assets.
- Foster a data‑led culture and lead the adoption of analytics, AI/ML and digital products.
- Provide thought leadership, influence global partners, and drive marketing aspirations of the brands.
- Manage annual BU budget planning and determine trade‑offs to maximise ROI.
- Lead vendor/agency engagements for digital solutions and guide proof‑of‑concept experiments.
- Collaborate with Legal on cyber security and data privacy practices.
- Maintain external industry connections for digital/technology trend insights.
Education / Experiences
- BE/MBA degree.
- Tech leadership roles (CTO, CIO) with experience running large enterprise‑wide IT projects.
- Strong understanding of Sales & Marketing technologies.
- Experience in at least two of three CPG functional domains: Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain.
Work Schedule
Hybrid, Monday‑Friday from Toronto Head Office.
Salary and Benefits
The base salary is competitive and dependent on experience, skills, and education.
