Title: AZ City Driver
Location : Mississauga, ON
Shift: as required (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $ 24.00 - 30.00 /hr.
This City P&D opportunity is ideal for Drivers who have weekday availability and are open to working on an as-needed basis. Simply let us know the days you are available, and we will advise you of any routes that may require coverage.
This role is primarily to support leave-of-absence coverage and may involve transporting goods throughout the GTA, loading and unloading as required, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and on time.
Job Description
- Operate company vehicles (53' single or tandem axle) safely and deliver /pick up goods according to schedule
- Routes as scheduled within the GTA
- Required lifting/moving up to 50 lb . boxes using hand cart and automated tailgate
- Use of handheld device and adhere to company safety standards
Requirements
- Abstract and CVOR clean and dated within 30 days
- Valid AZ/ Class 1 license with 2 years driving experience
- Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs . and operate delivery equipment
- Flexible availability for required shifts
- Road test will be required
- Manual transmission is an asset but not a requirement
