Our office in Niagara Falls, ON, is looking for a Fleet and Equipment Mechanic to join our team.
Summary of the Role
Reporting to the Fleet Mechanic Foreman, the Fleet and Equipment Mechanic is r esponsible for performing preventative maintenance, service, and repairs on all E.S. Fox Fleet equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Check and maintain aerial work platforms, forklifts, and various other construction equipment to ensure proper performance.
- Diagnose malfunctions or faults with computerized equipment and determine extent of repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, cleaning, and parts replacement as required.
- Review and complete work orders.
- Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Key Requirements, Experience and Skills
- A license such as a 421A - Heavy Duty Equipment Technician would be an asset.
- Completion of formal training at a recognized Equipment manufacturer (Ex. JLG, JCB) would be an asset.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in construction equipment repairs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to accurately troubleshoot and diagnose repairs.
Other Requirements
- Clean drivers abstract and criminal record check.
- Must have their own set of tools.
- Working at Heights and Elevated work platform training.
