A well-regarded Calgary-based law firm is seeking a solicitor-side lawyer to join its growing practice. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced lawyer with a portable book of business who is looking to leverage a strong platform to continue building and servicing their clients.
The Opportunity
Join a collaborative and business-focused firm offering the infrastructure, support, and flexibility to help you expand your practice. The firm has an established client base and strong cross-referral opportunities across practice areas.
Practice Focus (any combination of)
- Corporate law
- Commercial transactions
- Real estate
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing client portfolio
- Handle a broad range of corporate, commercial, and/or real estate matters
- Draft and negotiate agreements and transactional documents
- Provide strategic legal advice to business clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-referrals and client service
Ideal Candidate
- 3-10+ years of call
- Experience in corporate, commercial, and/or real estate law
- Portable book of business required
- Ability to independently manage files and client relationships
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on practice growth
