VCH Quality Leader for Clinical Safety
Vancouver Coastal Health
Enhance clinical care as a Quality Leader for Clinical Safety at Vancouver Coastal Health. Focus on improving patient experience through targeted safety and quality initiatives. The Quality Leader will actively support clinical and corporate teams to align their goals with VCH’s strategic direction. This vital role involves mentoring staff in applying continuous improvement methods and conducting training on quality standards. Reporting to senior leadership, this position also promotes an organizational culture rooted in equity and diversity. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and implementation of quality strategies
- Guide teams in resolving quality-related barriers
- Conduct extensive research on healthcare improvement trends
- Coach committees on project management practices
- Aid in maintaining accreditation standards and compliance
- Master’s Degree in relevant discipline
- Strong experience with quality improvement tools
- Aptitude for project management in health care
- Excellent teamwork and communication capabilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive environments
