Compensation: $250,000 – $295,000 base + bonus + travel support + benefits <\/span><\/p>

About the Opportunity <\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

This is an opportunity to join one of Canada’s premier heavy civil
contractors on a landmark infrastructure project in British Columbia. <\/span>
<\/p>

We are seeking an experienced Project Director with a proven background
leading large -scale heavy civil construction projects, including complex
concrete structures, transportation infrastructure, transit, bridges, marine
works, and major civil infrastructure assignments. <\/span>
<\/p>

This role is ideal for a senior construction leader who thrives in
technically demanding environments and has successfully managed large project
teams, complex stakeholder relationships, and major infrastructure operations
from pre -construction through project completion. <\/span>
<\/p>

The position is based on a rotational out -of -town schedule of 14 days on
/ 7 days off and offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role on one of
the region’s most significant heavy civil projects. <\/span>

    The Role <\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    As the Project Director, you will provide overall leadership and
    strategic direction for a major heavy civil infrastructure project, overseeing
    all aspects of project execution including operations, commercial performance,
    scheduling, safety, staffing, client relations, and project delivery. <\/span>
    <\/p>

    You will lead multidisciplinary project teams while working closely with
    executive leadership, clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure the
    successful delivery of the project. <\/span>
    <\/p>

    This role requires strong operational leadership, commercial acumen, and
    deep experience managing technically complex infrastructure projects within
    demanding construction environments. <\/span>
    <\/p>

    Key Responsibilities <\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Provide executive -level
      leadership for a major heavy civil infrastructure project <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Oversee all project operations
      including construction, commercial management, scheduling, procurement,
      and staffing <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Lead Project Managers,
      Superintendents, engineers, and project support teams <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ensure projects are delivered
      safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual
      obligations <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Drive project strategy, execution
      planning, and operational performance <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Manage client relationships,
      stakeholder coordination, and executive reporting <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Oversee risk management, change
      management, forecasting, and cost control activities <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Support project staffing,
      mentorship, and team development initiatives <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Collaborate closely with senior
      operations and executive leadership teams <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Monitor overall project
      productivity, quality, and financial performance <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ensure compliance with project
      specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Lead high -level planning,
      problem -solving, and decision -making activities throughout the project
      lifecycle <\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Who You Are <\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • 15+ years of leadership
        experience within heavy civil or infrastructure construction <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Proven experience leading
        large -scale infrastructure projects valued in the hundreds of millions <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Strong background in: <\/span>
        <\/li>
        • Structural concrete <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Heavy civil infrastructure <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Bridges and transportation
          projects <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Transit infrastructure <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Marine or major public
          infrastructure projects <\/span>
          <\/li><\/ul>
        • Demonstrated success managing
          large project teams and complex field operations <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Strong commercial, contractual,
          and operational management experience <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Excellent leadership,
          communication, and stakeholder management skills <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Experience working within highly
          technical and schedule -driven project environments <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Strong understanding of
          construction risk management, scheduling, and project controls <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Engineering, Construction
          Management, or related technical background is considered an asset <\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Ability to work rotational
          schedules and travel for project assignments <\/span>
          <\/li><\/ul>
