Technical Quoting Specialist

Thomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for the Power Generation Industry for over 50 years. We are currently seeking a talented Quoting Specialist to join our team in Langley, BC.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, experienced Technical Quoting Specialist. The successful candidate will prepare and manage technical quotes for prospective clients, ensuring accurate cost estimations, managing and prioritizing customer accounts, processing orders, and providing support for customers’ questions or inquiries.

YOUR MISSION

Major Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely technical quotes based on customer RFQ, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs
• Maintain a database of quotations within Salesforce
• Manage multiple customer accounts and quotation requests simultaneously
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly
• Coordinate projects, process orders, and manage orders utilizing ERP systems
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service

ARE YOU THE ONE?

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

• Technical Bachelor’s degree, Diploma of Technology, or equivalent related experience
• 2‑3 years of technical quoting experience in Electrical and automation industries

Qualifications

• Strong customer‑facing experience
• Strong communication skills in English (written & verbal)
• Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office (word & excel)
• Strong organizational & time‑management skills
• Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment
• Knowledge of SAP system and Salesforce is an asset

Location

This position is based at Thomson Power System’s Langley facility, with a hybrid schedule requiring an on‑site presence of three days per week.
