Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman Machinist ticket, operate CNC machinery, interpret technical drawings, and produce precision components in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes, milling machines, boring mill and other machining equipment .
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings.
Program CNC machines to produce parts within specified tolerances using CNC programming skills.
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Select appropriate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for fabrication tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols, including forklift operation when necessary.
Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and product quality

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Journeyman Machinist, or in a similar manufacturing role with mechanical knowledge of machining processes.
Proficiency in CNC programming, with experience operating CNC lathe and milling machines.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and blueprint          interpretation skills.
Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools accurately.
Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques,        and assembly procedures.
