Senior Software Developer - Authentication Focus

Enhance user trust at Remitly as a Senior Software Developer focused on secure authentication systems. This Vancouver-based role collaborates with teams to shape impactful solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical authentication features that keep customers safe and secure. Partner with product managers and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly solutions while contributing to strategic technical decisions. You'll mentor teammates and foster an inclusive engineering culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Build robust authentication features and services
- Collaborate on technical solutions from concept to support
- Improve authentication flows for mobile and web
- Engage in technical strategy and code review processes
- Identify and implement solutions for account security
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
- Over 8 years of relevant software engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of security best practices
- Proven ability to deliver maintainable, well-tested code
- Experience working with diverse functional teams
