Senior Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer

The Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer supports and enhances CareRx’s hybrid IT environment, including cloud, infrastructure, and Microsoft platforms. This role ensures systems are secure, scalable, and reliable while driving cloud adoption and infrastructure modernization.

Key Accountabilities

• Support and optimize hybrid infrastructure (Azure, Microsoft 365, servers, identity, storage, and backup)


• Administer Azure services and monitor performance, security, and availability


• Design and improve cloud and infrastructure solutions


• Manage identity, access, and endpoint technologies (AD, Entra ID, Intune)


• Support incident, change, and maintenance activities


• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities


• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to support operations and projects

Qualifications

Minimum

• Degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)


• 7+ years in infrastructure/cloud environments


• Experience in cloud cost management


• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and core Microsoft technologies


• Experience supporting hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environments


• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a continuous improvement mindset toward automation, standardization, and operational maturity.


• Hands-on, practical approach


• Strong communication and collaboration skills


• Detail-oriented with ability to manage competing priorities

Preferred

• Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, etc.)

• Experience with Azure governance, cost management, tagging, policy, and cloud security best practices.


• Experience with cloud security, monitoring, and automation

• Exposure to backup/DR solutions and scripting (PowerShell, CLI)


• Experience in healthcare or multi-site environments


• Experience supporting VMware environments and/or migrating from VMware to Microsoft Hyper-V

Location: 320 Bay Street 1-2 days per week  

Opportunity: This is a current existing position   

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
