THEROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Base Salary: CAD $67,517.00 - 84,396.00

The Licensed InsuranceAdvisor (LIA) will be responsible for supporting potential and existing Individualinsurance clients and meeting sales and retention targets through GreenShield’sin-house sales centre. This includes new client acquisition, client retention,relationship building, and supporting cross selling and other initiatives fromwithin the organization. This role requires a needs-based approach that putscustomers first with all that they do. The position reports to the Manager,Sales & Retention, Individual Direct Channel and may have the opportunityto periodically work with other lines of business throughout GreenShield.

This role is a hybrid rolewith 2 days each week in our Toronto office.

Here is what the roleentails.

Activities

• Connect with potential and/or existing GreenShieldIndividual insurance clients to gain anunderstanding of their needs and recommend a solution that best meets thoseneeds


• Leverage GreenShield contact strategy to engage with clientsthrough inbound & outbound calls and email


• Promote additional GreenShield’s products or solutions as required


• Support our clients through outbound and inbound calling whilstproviding a first-class customer experience


• Achieve sales, retention, quality, and activity targets


• Capture and provide feedback from clients to help improve GreenShieldprocesses, products, and services


• Accurately complete all CRM and Telephony logging activities tosupport continued analytics

Continuous Improvement

• Participating in regular sales coaching session with your directline Manager


• Review individual performance and adjust as required to achievepre-set targets and goals


• Other ongoing training and continuous learning opportunities asthey arise

Industry Awareness and Compliance

• Maintain all valid LLQP licensing requirements which includesmaintaining Continuing Education (CE) credits to remain in good standingwith the regulator

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a uniqueindividual who is passionate about helping us create better health for allCanadians.

Education & Experience

• Post-secondarydegree or diploma preferred or equivalent work experience


• 2+ year experience in sales or retention in a call centerenvironment


• Experience in insurance sales a plus


• Full LLQP/HLLQP for atleast two consecutive years (preferred)


• Ability to secure additional provincial licensing within the first three months of employment


• Previous insurance or financial industry knowledge


• Familiar with various insurance products (Health & Dental,Travel) and how they provide value for our clients


• Previous experience with call center methodologies and tools

• Able to maintain a client centric approach to your work and buildlast relationships between GreenShield and clients


• Solid understanding of needs-based sales principles, soft skills,and how to support different types of clients in a performance-drivenenvironment


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the abilityto work across diverse teams and stakeholders


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize andtriage workloads


• Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills;confident, credible and personable


• Professional with a strong and responsive approach to work in a fast-paced,high volume call centre environment


• Strong personal integrity and work ethic; takes responsibility;likes to be held accountable and prides themselves on their results


• Desire for continuous improvement and skilled at applying feedback
