About the Role:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This position provides support and leadership to the individual classrooms at the assigned Child Care center.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently represent YMCA's values and mission, comply with all YMCA Policies, procedures and Provincial Licensing and Health regulations
• Ensure Educators are meeting expectations outlined in their s and that the environment is clean and in good repair; coach and mentor Educators as required
• Focus on team building with all Educators, facilitating team building and relationship development amongst all team members
• Complete administration duties as required

Qualifications:

• Level 2 or 3 Child Care Certification
• Standard or Child Care First Aid & CPR - C
• Able to obtain a Police Information Check with Vulnerable sector check
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to work in a team
