The Cake Decorator is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely manner. The Cake Decorator supports all Bakery Department operations, including decorating, packaging, merchandising and customer service, while actively contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Here’s Where You’ll Be Focusing

• Decorate cakes and specialty desserts according to company standards and customer requests.
• Prepare, package, label and merchandise bakery products.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with bakery orders and inquiries.
• Maintain department standards, including product presentation, rotation and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and health & safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.
• Support Bakery Department operations by stocking, replenishing and merchandising products.
• Perform other duties as required.

What You Have To Offer

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Artistic ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.
• Previous cake decorating experience is an asset.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends.
