Food Prep Worker

POSITION: Kitchen Helper
SALARY: $18.00/hour
SCHEDULE / HOURS: 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (according to the school calendar).
Hours will be reduced during the summer.
START DATE: As soon as possible – 2026
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the chef in preparing the daily menu
- Take part in service on the serving line during lunchtime (if needed)
- Ensure portion control and maintain quality standards in accordance with Aramark requirements
- Ensure compliance with management, health, hygiene, and food safety programs
- Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service
- Participate in kitchen cleaning duties
- Follow established safety regulations
- Perform any other related tasks as required
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry (asset)
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work independently
- Positive attitude, punctuality, honesty, and good judgment
- Customer-service oriented
- MAPAQ certification (asset)
