Design and develop electrical systems for power grid modernization projects, including distribution automation, substation upgrades, and smart grid technologies.Perform comprehensive power system studies, such as load flow, short circuit, fault analysis, and transient stability analysis using industry-standard software.Create detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, protection and control schemes, and equipment specifications.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, project managers, and clients in a virtual environment.Evaluate and recommend electrical equipment and technologies to enhance grid reliability, efficiency, and resilience.Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.Provide technical support during the procurement, installation, and commissioning phases of projects.Develop and maintain thorough project documentation, including design reports and technical manuals.Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in power systems and smart grids.Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise within the team.Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical power systems engineering, with a focus on transmission and distribution.Advanced proficiency in power system simulation software (e.G., PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP).Strong understanding of grid codes, protection principles, and control systems.Experience with SCADA systems, substation automation, and renewable energy integration is highly desirable.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.Professional Engineer (Pr.
