We are a loving family of three and we are looking for a warm, dependable, and experienced nanny to join our family. Our baby will be around 7-months-old when the position begins. We are both physicians, so we are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, proactive, and comfortable with a schedule that can vary from week to week. Our primary priority is providing our child with attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care, but we would also love to find someone who is happy to help with some of the day-to-day tasks that keep our household running smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing loving, attentive, and engaging care for our baby
• Following our child's daily routine, including feeding, naps, play, and age-appropriate activities
• Taking our dog outside and/or for walks if you are comfortable doing so
• Light household tidying related to the baby and family
• Meal preparation and helping with simple family meals
• Helping keep the baby's areas, bottles, and belongings organized
• Being proactive and communicative about our child's needs and daily routine

SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY

We are looking for someone who can provide a minimum of 30 hours per week, guaranteed, with the possibility of additional hours when needed. Because we are both physicians, our schedules are not always predictable. Most of our childcare needs will be during the week, but occasional evenings and weekends will be needed with advance notice. We are looking for someone who has some flexibility and is comfortable working additional hours when our schedules require it. We will do our best to provide as much notice as possible for schedule changes and additional shifts. We are hoping to find someone who views flexibility as part of the position and who can become a trusted, long-term member of our household.

COMPENSATION

• $26/hour for regular weekday hours before 5:00 PM
• $27.50/hour for hours after 5:00 PM and weekend hours
• 30 hours per week guaranteed
• Additional hours available and paid at the applicable hourly rate
