Health care aide

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver for a full daytime shift (no mornings) position on the dementia floor of a seniors assisted living care facility. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a Health and Human Services Administration Certificate (or equivalent), a valid First Aid Certificate, and a minimum of 1 year of experience providing personal care to dementia patients. Candidates must be available for on-site work and willing to complete a criminal record check and provide references. Key responsibilities include assisting residents with meals, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transfers, and regular exercise; taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse); monitoring comfort and reporting changes; transporting residents via wheelchair to appointments and excursions; performing light housekeeping; and providing healthcare companionship in a safe, clean environment.
