Account Specialist. Toronto/Ontario East

Ipsen seeks an Account Specialist for the Toronto/Ontario East territory to drive sales of rare disease and specialty pharmaceutical products. The role involves managing healthcare provider relationships, executing territory business plans, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets and support patient care pathways.
Responsibilities
- Deliver assigned product sales objectives and consistently engage existing and new accounts within territory
- Execute calls on physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide disease state and product information
- Develop and implement comprehensive territory business plans with strategies to achieve annual sales goals
- Map patient journey and identify opportunities to optimize pathways to appropriate care
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement local programs and stakeholder initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in specialty pharmaceuticals
- Proven competitive selling and strong sales performance track record
- Planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated persuasion, influence, and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
