The Opportunity
We are seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our growing team. This opportunity is well suited for a lawyer seeking greater autonomy, ownership over their files, and a supportive environment to grow or transition their practice.
Whether you are developing your practice or bringing existing relationships, we provide the infrastructure, and flexibility to support your success.
What you can expect
- Ownership of files from intake through completion
- Direct client interaction and relationship development
- Collaboration on complex matters when needed
- A balance of independence and team-based support
Key responsibilities
- Managing client matters from initial engagement to completion
- Drafting legal documentation and correspondence
- Maintaining strong client and professional relationships
- Managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Contributing to the growth of the firm

- Member in good standing with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society
- Able to manage files independently while collaborating effectively
- Client-focused, practical, and solutions-oriented
- Strong communicator with sound judgment
- Motivated to grow your practice
