Nanny Wanted - Looking For A Warm & Kind Pt Nanny In Cochrane, Ab. Long Term, M Th, 11:45am To 2:45pm (+Add’l Shifts If Interested) :)

We are a family based in Cochrane, Alberta and are seeking a dedicated and caring nanny to support us part-time! Starting September 2026, we are looking for a care provider (for 1 preschooler) from 11:45am to 2:45pm, Monday to Thursday. The occasional Friday, evening, and weekend shift may also be available (if you are available and interested).

NANNY CARE:

The Nanny Care component will primarily be for our preschooler, but on occasion, it may extend to care for our young school-aged child as well. We are looking for a loving, intentional, and *present* provider for our little one(s). You will be an extension of us when we are working or at appointments, so it’s important that your care style align with our parenting style.

HOUSE MANAGER:

If the need and interest is there, this position could eventually serve as a dual role and also include the responsibility of House Manager / (aka “Mother's Helper”). The House Manager component (if applicable) may include tasks such as cleaning, organizing the home/family, grocery shopping, running errands, stocking the pantry/fridge, laundering linens/towels/clothes, calls for repairs, rides, seasonal tasks, and other home/family projects that become necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

We are not only looking for someone who will prioritize a safe and loving environment for our children, but also someone who is reliable, communicative, logical, health-conscious, hygienic, and proactive. Ensuring the safety and comfort of our children is crucial, so having a valid CPR certification is a minimum requirement. Bonus if you have medical / healthcare background! Driver’s License and clean driving record is required. Criminal background ground check (including vulnerable sector check) is mandatory. The position is live-out and part-time.

RATE:

Starting rate is $21 to start, though the rate is flexible to a degree, depending on your background and whether you’ll be tending to one or both of our kids, or at a later date, whether the role is has transitioned primarily to that of our House Manager.
