TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Field Contracts Manager role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

This positions follows a rotational schedule and requires working on site in South-East BC. 

Responsibilities:

• Handle high-level claim reviews and settlements.
• Coordinate with various teams to protect interests and reduce risks.
• Lead contract negotiations and foster teamwork.
• Oversee the entire contract process, including claims and close-out.
• Develop and manage budgets for individual contracts.
• Collaborate with project leaders to manage contract activities.
• Prepare and assess bid plans for large projects and assist with technical documents.
• Supervise contract management staff and ensure compliance.
• Create and execute strategies for project contracts, including RFPs.
• Ensure high standards for RFP packages and contracts.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum four-year degree and 15years of experience in managing contracts, subcontracts, and procurement.
• Proficient in handling RFP/RFQ processes for large industrial projects.
• Skilled in developing various compensation models, including cost-reimbursable, lump sum, and unit price.
• Expertise in negotiating terms for contracts.
• Effective communication skills with diverse audiences, including management, clients, and contractors.
• Experienced in assessing and negotiating work changes and claims.
• In-depth knowledge of contracting principles and legal terminology.
• Proficient in supporting proposal development and strategic sales strategies.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Experience in the mining industry.
