Job Summary

The Registered Massage Therapist’s primary objective is to provide various types of massage therapy treatments. They welcome our guests and perform services in accordance with established protocols. They advise and respond to customer requests while ensuring excellent service and a memorable customer experience.

Specific Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation, recommends appropriate care and assist guests with inquiries
• Actively contributes to the continued improvement of the guest experience by regularly offering suggestions and recommendations
• Ensures a clean and well maintained work area, especially the massage therapy rooms

• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other associates
• Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Be able to reach and bend

Requirements

• 2200hours of training from an accredited massage therapy college
• Member in good standing with a recognized association (MTAM, NHPC, RMTSMB)
• Professional insurance – malpractice and liability
• Valid CPR (Class C)
• Criminal Record and vulnerable persons check
• Basic computer skills

Work schedule

As permitted by the availability of massage treatment rooms and the schedule offered by the Registered Massage Therapist as an Independent Contractor.

Looking for afternoon, evening and weekend availability.

Compensation

Based on the rates schedule in effect at Thermea Spa Village Winnipeg.
