Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in various office software. Experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate contacts or service areas
Answer, screen and forward telephone call
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Receive and process payments (if applicable)
- Maintain records and filing systems
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails and courier deliveries
- Provide basic information to clients and customers
- Maintain office security by monitoring visitor access
- Perform general administrative and clerical support duties
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school is usually required
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, scheduling systems)
- Customer service experience is usually an asset
- On-the-job training is typically provided
